Supporting your child to communicate

In the first visit, we get to know the child, and complete an initial, personalised assessment of the presenting communication condition. As part of the assessment service, we provide information and recommendations. If a speech-language therapy programme is recommended, this will be individually tailored for the needs of the child, and will include activities for practice at home.

We provide a child-centred approach and aim to incorporate the interests of the child and their situation and setting, in to our programmes.

There are programmes for all ages of children including pre-schoolers and adolescents in the areas of speech sound disorders/unclear speech, understanding and expressing information, social skills, as well as hearing impairments and voice disorders.

Physical environment

Our clinic office Is centrally located in Mt Albert, with accessible parking on-site and nearby. We are situated close to St Luke’s Mall. We see children in the clinic room, at home, school, or preschool and can offer blocks of therapy.
