Little swimmers-Stanmore Bay PoolWant your children to be safe in and around the water? Learning to swim can be one of the most rewarding life skills that we achieve. Not only are we teaching our children how to swim, it’s an asset that can open a gateway of opportunity for lifelong enjoyment in water-based activities.

Learning to swim is for any age, ability or disability and with our fully-qualified and knowledgeable instructors learning can be fun!

For ages up to 18 years.

Older than 18? Our Adult Swim Squad is for those who enjoy swimming and want to get fitter and faster or need to train for an event.

With the help of our specialist coach, you can

  • Train for ocean swims and triathlons
  • Improve stroke technique
  • Improve swimming times


If you are 16 years or under you can swim for FREE! Play lanes in the 25m main pool and the 12m small pool are available for swimming outside Learn to Swim and aquatic programme times. We recommend checking the pool schedule on our website to avoid busy times.

Recreation Programmes

What game do you want to play? Basketball, Squash, Netball? What about gymnastics? Our recreation team offers pre-school, school age and adult programmes including:

  • Sporty Kidz for 3-5 year olds
  • Gym’n’ees for 15 months to 5 years
  • Pedal & Play for 2-5 years
  • Gymnastics – years 1-4
  • Miniball – years 1-4
  • Archery – 7 years & over
  • Basketball – years 5-11
  • Squash – adult
  • Basketball – adult
  • Netball – adult

School Holiday Programmes

Join our Leisure Kidz crew! We run programmes from 8am – 5pm daily during the school holidays with fun activities for ages 5-12 years. Enjoy baking, crafts, games and much more with swimming in the afternoons on most days.

Fitness Centre

girl & guy on bikes in gym stanmore bay poolPassionate about your fitness? We make getting active and staying fit as easy as possible; whether your goal is weight loss, sports training, rehabilitation or general fitness, we’re here to help.

The cardio room has the latest equipment and offers the complete solution to shed those unwanted kilos – or try weight training using resistance equipment in the lower gym, or a quick all-round workout in the Circuit Express Room when you don’t have a lot of time!

The fitness centre is suitable for those over the age of 14 years.

Group Fitness

Group FitnessExperience the energy of a group fitness class – more people equals more fun! We offer a great selection of classes either in the water or on land.

All of our workouts are designed to be fun and provide for a range of abilities and fitness levels, so no matter what your body type, fitness or coordination, there’s a class to suit you.

Curl Café

Our on-site café is conveniently situated next to reception and can fuel your body with that all-important post workout smoothie, or just if you want to grab a coffee while you watch your young ones in the pool.

Health and Wellbeing

Sports injury? Training injury? Connective Massage can help you with your aches and Coast Physio can help with those sprains!
