Playschool was founded in 2008 by Carissa Vaudrey, whose philosophy is “if it is good enough for my children, it’s good enough for yours”. Her theory is that she wants the best for her own children every time and this should be extended to all children we work with on our Education programme.
Playschool employs fully qualified ECE Teachers who provide one on one support to your child and Educator. We come to you every month with free resources and tools to enhance your child’s learning. Because Playschool is a totally FREE service including all the resources we provide for you, as a parent you can now ensure your child gets the best educational support without the financial strain on your family.
Learning begins at home
Playschool Education believes in providing each individual child with a stimulating and safe environment, in which they feel empowered, enabling them to learn and develop at an early age. Playschool Education’s Programme Co-ordinator’s, alongside of the Educator, plan and implement Learning and Development strands and goals following Te Whariki, the Early Childhood Curriculum in New Zealand.
Te Whariki provides a framework to guide children’s learning. Te Whariki is founded on the following aspirations for children: “To grow up as confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in the sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society”
We are a home-based service, our Teacher’s come to see you in the comfort of your own home.
Having your child cared for and educated at home ensures your child can have their own routine, sleep when they need sleep, eat when they get hungry.
Home based childcare creates normality in your child’s day, doing typical daily things like going to the supermarket, outings on a regular basis, playdates, and other outings you would normally do with your child.
