About Us

The gym was built by its current owner, Darrin Worsfold in 2009 and is locally owned and operated. Darrin has been working with children since 1985. Darrin has his B.Ed (tchg) as well as a Diploma in teaching. This is combined with his climbing qualification, Rock 1 and ABSEIL2. All the staff receive extensive safety training, partnered with first aid qualifications and continual professional development and are always on-hand to assist.

Giving children confidence

We offer over 30 vibrant, creatively themed ClimbZone walls guaranteed to entertain, exercise and exhilarate children.

Parents will be reassured by our state-of-the-art automatic belay system, which eliminates the need for a human belay, enabling even the youngest of visitors to take personal control of their own climbing. The automatic belay takes in as your child climbs and lowers them gently once they reach the top, or their limit!

We begin with a safety briefing and fit the harness to the child, we will then guide you through how to operate our systems and can help with the climbing too!

Watch on in amazement as your kids climb to the top of Jack’s Giant Beanstalk, shimmy up the Lighthouse beside the Cruise Liner, race side by side with their friends at the Speed Climb, or simply climb among their favourite Nursery Rhythm and Fairy Tale characters. There is something for every age group of child. Just don’t forget your camera to capture their smiles of delight and memories.

You don’t need any special climbing gear either. Simply come along in comfortable, free-flowing clothes (jeans and skirts are not recommended) and shoes/trainers. You can hire harnesses and climbing shoes from us for a very reasonable price. There are always instructors available to help you and your family out and don’t worry, we are disable friendly.

For kids who are bitten by the climbing bug we offer our Rock Hoppers Club. These are scheduled classes teaching a variety of skills and technique required to climb routes of increasing difficulty level. The emphasis is still on fun but it gets more challenging as the kids get better. Our Rock Hoppers sessions are suitable for ages 8 to 18.

Our safe & friendly enviroment

Our climbing gym is clean, colourful and safe. We have parking right outside our venue, have excellent coffee making skills but above all the emphasis is the safety of all our equipment. Atmosphere

We have a laid-back vibe with easy listening background music (we take requests) and we encourage all to give it a go! Our staff always go the extra mile to make sure you and your child are completely happy.
